Hi, I am Steve Jensen. I'm a professional designer that gravitates toward technology, I have an online radio show and I love to teach. I will teach just about anything I know, as you can see from various social websites. Architecture and the technology related to construction and design are my passion.
I have never tried to become registered as an architect because there is just too much going on in the technology realm to bother.
My fascination with technology began in high school when I hooked up a computer to an old television with a cassette tape as my storage media. I created a few simple programs for entertainment and became enthralled with the possibilities created by computer technology.
I never even considered a career in computers and went to the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee to study architecture. I always found myself using the technology available to help me work better. At school I discovered software that could create 3d cad drawings. Spreadsheets were awesome for daylight and energy analysis, and by the time I was ready to leave, you could render and create animated movies of your designs. I have been helping people use technology to design and build ever since getting my degrees in architecture.
As far as teaching, I have taught architectural technology and building codes at a technical college. At the companies I have worked for, I taught about the technology used to create our designs and the software to run our offices. Currently, I am also trying my hand at teaching using video games through our community recreation department.
I do other things too, like skiing, mountain biking, camping, woodworking, cooking, and playing with my kids. I love traveling, but I am most happy outdoors or creating something that I designed.
Technology is developing at a fast rate. Staying current and competitive is more important than ever before. Let me help you. Keep all of your technology and processes up to date and available with es ist genug.
